Sonoma's history of agriculture has many faces.

This property, large, with sweeping views blushes at sunset. The new residence was sited at the end of a long road between the many rows of grape vines. A couple shifting to the west coast from the east coast finding their way of being with the land, welcoming family, eating from what's grown and walking their grounds.

When we approached this vast open setting, our job began with the movement. We imagined how the site would be traversed and we envisioned daily routines. Coming to and fro the vegetable garden, the path around the pond when there is a desire for a longer walk and even how friends would arrive and amble up the entry.

Flowering plants created the drama while wheat colored flowing grasses softened the edges. Our unique custom features mixed wine country aesthetic with clean contemporary detailing to create a space that feels modern and agricultural.
